"slow down we've got time left to be lazy"

Well here I am again just typing away for no reason at all but since I am here why not.
So lately stumbleupon has been helping me discover many things and so now I will share them:
quotes with pictures- kinda my new favorite thing to stumble across cause they are all so cute but here are my favorites

Granted most of them are about love and I am not only a girl but happen to be a hopeless romantic which is why I like them so much. Hope you guys do too. Okay next.

Crafts- Its summer so I've got nothing but time on my hands so here are some projects I wanna do

Just a few...I think that's enough for now but ya I kinda love stumbleupon.

Strange Things Are Happening

Do you ever see something and wish you could take a picture of it without anyone else noticing? like a sneak attack? well I always feel this way and especially this weekend. I witnessed some interesting things.
First off, I was at a stake relief society thingy with my grandma and it was outta control. One of the speakers was definitely just wearing what looked to me like a blanket but was probably a shawl thingy and was SUPER dramatic.  Kinda like this:

Okay not that intense but still.  Her lesson was 40 minutes and I am pretty sure she only said 2 sentances over and over again. Maybe a sneak video would have worked better on that one...next time
Then, in a different class, this lady was giving the weirdest comments about saving all living things and healing yourself with natures herbs and the best part was that had nothing to do with the lesson. See I already knew this lady was strange cause she gave a talk in sacrament meeting on Easter all about how she is grateful for the resurection knowing all her cats will be in heaven with her... all I could picture was this:

so her strange comments in class were almost expected

Then, in the last class, the sister missionaries sat by me. One of them was new in our area and the whole time she was just sitting there coloring in a coloring book. haha. I wish I could have gotten a picture of that one too. This may have to do for now picture wise:

Then to make things even better, the coloring book was in a binder covered in pictures of her and I'm guessing her boyfriend.  I was like you are legitimately kidding me right? last time I checked she was on a mission so...ya it was a strange morning to say the least.

It's moments like that where I wish I could capture it and share it with the world. Maybe it was all those strange occurances, maybe just so many things changing but whatever the reason, I've decided I need to take more pictures.  They are fun to look back at and you never regret taking them.  Sure in the moment they can be kinda a pain but I think it is worth it in the end. So my goal this week is take more pictures.  Now just to not get sand in my camera...

smile because it happened

I stumbled upon this quote today by Dr. Suess and loved it.
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened"
Since being back from school I have realized all the great times and memories i've had and friends i have made. i am so glad all of it happened. and although its over and nothing will be like freshmen year im happy that i have had those experiences. all the ups and downs, the long nights in the library, the bad test grades, the many games of catch phrase and mafia, the days spent on the snow in park city, the late night roommate chats, the dinners at the cannon, the nights spent making food in the basement, the date dashes, the dollar movies, the crazy teachers, the boring classes, the rb stairs, the blue line and quesadila thursdays, dining plus, the football games, the basketball games, the awkward couples in the lobby and by the back door (yes even them), the kpatt lectures for american heritage, and of course all the amazing friends made...memories that i will never forget. i am so glad it all happened. sure things didn't always go as i thought or hoped but in the end i am smiling because they all happened.

jumpin' on the bandwagon

why not? was my first thought. i mean a lot of people have blogs so why not me and lets be honest here it will probably only last for a little bit but i figured why not try it out. so i jumped on the bandwagon and here we are. not sure who will read this or why but its here. not sure what i will say but im giving it a try. hope you enjoy.
